Rick’s background of both small company and multi nations conglomerates allows him to understand all perspectives to achieve exceptional outcomes. His skills include over twenty years of sales experience in the Australian and Asian, market places. He has been working closely with multinationals end-users such as BP, BHP, PetroVietnam, South32 amongst others.
He has also worked in Business Development and Key Account Management roles for various PLC and DCS vendors, system integrators and electrical distributors.
Prior to various sales roles, Rick has more than fifteen years experience in chemicals and refinery operations, control systems engineering for major projects (Australia, UK and Singapore), and software consulting and technical estimation for major project pursuits.
Rick has worked in a wide selection of diverse industry sectors having worked in refining, chemicals, upstream oil and gas, gas pipelines and various mining, materials and metals related industries.
Rick has a wide experience and knowledge of conducting business in European, American and Asian markets and cultures having lived in these regions for a substantial portion of his career. The combination of a strong project engineering background and a wide range of sales experiences gives Rick the ability to engage with end-users and EPC(M)s to find and develop the right solution for their requirements.
This background of working on both the user and supplier sides of industry, also helps him advise companies how to achieve better outcomes as a end industry user and a supplier. The ability to understand both aspects and perspectives is invaluable to achieving better, faster more cost effective outcomes aligning to industry sneed to lower cost, and increase productivity.
